Hakone Gora Park

Hakone Gora Park opened in 1914 and is the oldest French-style park in Japan. Cherry blossoms and azaleas bloom in March and April, hydrangeas bloom in June and July, and from May to June and October through November, 1,000 roses of 140 different varieties bloom in the rose garden. Beautiful flowers can be enjoyed throughout the year. You’ll also find cafés where you can relax while enjoying the park, and a workshop where you can try glassblowing and pottery-making. This park is an ideal place for visitors with children, too.
