Hakone Botanical Garden of Wetlands

Hakone Botanical Garden of Wetlands is where you can enjoy the wetlands that cover Sengokuhara. In this garden, you’ll find 200 types of wetland plants from around Japan along with up to 1,000 types of alpine and rare foreign plants. Asian skunk cabbage and katakuri start to flower from the beginning of April. The middle of May to June is the best time to see Japanese primrose and iris flowers. During these periods, the promenade will be surrounded by numerous flowers. How about taking a walk among Japan’s everchanging nature while feeling the pleasant Hakone breeze?
