Naraya Café

This cafe was renovated by its owners from a building that was once the employee dormitory for the 300-year-old Naraya Ryokan (Japanese-style hotel) . The café has a traditional, graceful atmosphere harking back to its ryokan roots. The owner wants the café to be a place where travelers can gather easily, so décor is matched to suit their needs. Their free footbaths have been flowing from an old hot spring ever since the café was a dormitory. Visitors can enjoy coffee while soaking their feet. A gallery is also attached to the cafe and exhibits pieces from various artists each month.
