Kanazashi Woodcraft is a parquetry specialty shop that exhibits and sells the works of traditional craftsman, Katsuhiro Kanazashi. Parquetry is a wooden handicraft that involves detailed geometric designs by combining woods with various colors and textures. It is a well-known, traditional Hakone handicraft. The parquetry made by Mr. Kanazashi using his own original methods and designs have won numerous awards. These award-winning works are also exhibited in the shop. A trial class for making coasters is also given at the shop. You can bring home your own original parquetry work as a souvenir.

Hakone Tozan Bus at Hatajuku (317)
Take the Hakone Tozan Bus (Route K) from Hakone-Yumoto Station (OH51) bound for Motohakone Port, exit at Hatajuku (317) (about 20 minutes), and it will be in immediate walking distance
The trial class is 800 yen per person (including tax)
