Kappa-Tengoku is an elevated hot spring facility a 3 minute walk from Hakone-Yumoto Station. They not only have natural open-air baths with waters produced from two private fountainheads, but also footbaths that are 200 yen per adult. The fact that this spot is only a short train or bus ride away is another one of its appeals. The open-air baths are equipped with shampoo, body soap and hair dryers, with towels available for 150 yen. It may just be a great idea to take a break while looking down onto the Hakone-Yumoto Station platform during your downtime.
