Matcha Experience at Hakone Gora Park
Hands-on Matcha Making at the Historical Hakuundō Tea House
Hakone Gora Park will host a special Matcha Experience Event at Hakuundō Tea House on May 18 (Mon) and May 19 (Tue), 2026.
During this event, guests can enjoy a rare opportunity to prepare and enjoy matcha tea by themselves in a traditional Japanese tea house.The tea house has been carefully preserved for over 110 years and is designated as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.

Limited-Edition Matcha Set for Sale
A special matcha starter set, “Matcha Kotohajime” will be available from May 18 at the park’s souvenir shop.
On event days, the set will also be sold at Hakuundō Tea House.

Closed: Open year-round (except for three maintenance days per year)

- Children (elementary school age and under): Free
