Owakudani-eki Shokudo is a restaurant on the second floor of Owakudani Station, visible when you get off the ropeway. The restaurant boasts a spectacular view of the Owakudani's smoky scenery through its windows. On the menu, try the tokusei Owakudani-kare (special Owakudani curry), which was inspired by Owakudani's volcanic scenery. The curry is flavorful and has a lavish amount of minced beef cooked with spices. The katsu-kare (pork-cutlet curry) made with Hakone-raised pork meat, and kare-udon (curry udon), are also popular. There is also pasta, soba, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.
