This summer in Hakone there are many events that you can enjoy until late at night!

Enjoy Hakone-Yumoto’s Summer Night Village (August 1 - 31) for a limited time only!

In August, Hakone-Yumoto Summer Night Village will open in the Hakone-Yumoto area.

At 29 BAR GRILL, the event’s main hall, you can enjoy drinks and grilled food in an interior with beautiful illuminations. Admission to this event is free!

In addition, the Hakone Tozan Railway cars in front of Hakone-Yumoto Station will be lit up, many of the shops near the station will be open at night for business, and there will also be an event where visitors can enjoy some bar-hopping!

Sayaka Takeuchi (nora. agency), this event’s creative director, has created a unique space featuring mystical lighting and sounds, and it’s within this space that visitors can enjoy authentic BBQ grilled cuisine and a bar!

Tozan Railway 100
To commemorate the one hundred year anniversary of the Hakone Tozan Railway Line running from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Gora Station, some Hakone Tozan Railway carriages parked in front of the station will be lit up at night.

Location: In front of Hakone-Yumoto Station (OH51).
Business hours: 19:00-22:00

At designated shops in the Hakone-Yumoto area, visitors can enjoy bar-hopping at a reasonable price while doing a stamp rally.

Hakone Lake Ashi - Pirates of Sunset Cruise

While on board the Hakone Pirate Ship, which travels across Lake Ashi, visitors can watch an authentic Pirate Show put on by members of a Japanese acting troupe. At the same time, audience members can enjoy pirate-themed meat on a bone chicken and other tasty buffet items, along with wine, beer, and other refreshments!
