Getting to Hakone Transport Guide Using Transportation Stations and Environs Route Map
   Hakone-Yumoto Station Gora Station Moto-Hakone Port Hakone-machi Port Togendai Station/Port Odawara Station
  Use the pedestrian deck over Route 1 from Hakone-Yumoto Station for smooth passage from the 2nd floor ticket gate to the bus terminal. The escalators and elevators for the pedestrian deck will go into service from 15:00 on Friday, October 2.
*The underground passageway for crossing Route 1 is no longer in service as of August 18 (Tue).
*Hakone-Yumoto Station, newly opened on Saturday, March 14, is still under partial construction. Please be advised that you may find discrepancies in the maps and station guidance when visiting.

Board the Express Romancecar from Platform No. 1 and trains bound for Odawara from Platform No. 2.
Platform No. 3: Use this platform to transfer to the Hakone Tozan train bound for Gora.

Please drop by the catalog corner with booklets on Hakone’s sightseeing facilities located on each platform.

A kiosk on the platform sells souvenirs and packed lunches. Please drop by.

Take the stairs or escalator from the platform to the ticket gate on 2F. A platform elevator is also available.

Coin-operated lockers Hakone Baggage Service
(8:30 - 19:00)


Fifty-one coin-operated lockers are available on the platform, near the elevator and stairs to the 2nd floor ticket gate.
15 standard-size lockers (300 yen), 9 mid-size lockers (400 yen), and 27 keyless lockers for PASMO cards (300 yen)

You can check your baggage in at the station and enjoy your trip unencumbered. Your baggage will be carried to the inn where you have reservations.

The ticket gate is on the second level (2F). If necessary, use one of the ticket-adjustment machines to recharge your PASMO card or adjust your ticket fee.
The storage fee is 350 yen for small-sized luggage and 500 yen for large-sized. You can leave your luggage here if you have time to sightsee or shop for souvenirs before boarding your train.

Use this automatic ticket machine to purchase tickets for the Odakyu Line, Hakone Tozan train, or Hakone free pass.

*Purchase express tickets for the Express Romancecar at the express ticket office.

Purchase tickets before boarding the Tozan (mountain) bus.
Purchase advance tickets for tours and sightseeing attractions.

Reserve or purchase express tickets for Odakyu Romancecar and other trains on the Odakyu Line.

A café next to the ticket gate serves light meals (64 seats, no smoking only).

*The hours of service change from season to season.

A sweets shop in the ticket-gate yard. The Hakone Roll and Hakone Pudding make excellent souvenirs.

Drop by to shop for take-out foods such as breads, drinks, or soft creams. Four seats outside.

An ATM is located near the exit of the station yard.

Take the stairs, escalator, or elevator from the exit area down to 1F.
Coin-operated lockers of two sizes are available across from the Café Saint Moritz Yumoto shop.

Taxi Stand Free pickup bus stops (Bound for Hakone Begonia Garden and Himeshara-no-yu)


Hakone Tozan taxis are standing by for you. Taxis are recommended for travelers in a hurry or small groups on private sightseeing tours.

The taxi stand is located in the traffic circle across the pedestrian deck (as of December 1, 2009).

Take the bus back forth between the station and Hakone Begonia Garden and Himeshara-no-yu.

Pedestrian Deck*The underground passageway is no longer in service (as of Tuesday, August 18).

You will find the pedestrian deck crossing Route 1 next to the 2nd floor ticket gate. Use the pedestrian deck for convenient transfer to the Hakone Tozan Bus.
 
 
(Bound for Miyanoshita / Kowakidani / Moto-Hakone / Hakone-machi and Sengoku / Togendai)
Cross the pedestrian deck to the bus stop across from the station. An elevator and escalator are also provided for your convenience (up only).
(Bound for Hatajuku, Kyu-kaido direction and Odawara Station)
Take the stairs immediately to the left of the pedestrian deck to the bus stop on the sidewalk on the station platform side.
